Morton Technical has been built on the principal of customer service and quality web development. We work with each client individually, first to understand and learn their particular business or organization, and then to make recommendations for their project. Even in the instances where we develop templated web sites for clients, the final product is always customized and optimized for that particular client.
- Validated code per the current html/xhtml/css standards
- Fluid design
- Designed with search engine placement in mind
- If desired by the client, built to allow the client to maintain their own site without the knowledge of coding web pages

What Direction Should Your Web Site Take You?
Should your site only be a small advertisement for your company? Should it be more? How much more? What is possible with the technology today and in the near future?
The Internet is becoming more and more the source where people and companies go to find information, vendors, and contractors to help them with their own projects. As such, your site can be not only an advertisement but a tool to initiate the contact needed to make a sale. Even more than that, your site should be a tool that will keep users coming back, to keep your name in front of customers for as long as possible.
The Design and Development Process
The process begins with a comprehensive first meeting at which we will ask many questions to get a better feeling about your company and the business you do. This initial interview, coupled with a very extensive questionnaire that we will ask you to fill out, will give us the information from which we will write our proposal recommending site technology, data handling, and graphics as needed. We will also formulate a basic preliminary site structure and even some page designs and layouts from this information.
Our Company Philosophy
Our company builds sites that in general try to encompass at least the following design criteria:
Sites can be basic pages or can be built using Microsoft's ASP, ASP.NET, or Macromedia's Coldfusion, all with SQL Server or other database backends if needed. Additionally we can add Macromedia Flash components or develop the entire site in Flash. It simply depends on the direction you would like your site to take. If you are unsure on what direction you should pursue, our written proposal will outline our thoughts and possibilities for your site. The proposal is normally broken into sections and a timeline to try to make the project easier to understand.
